Meeting started at 6:36

 

In attendance: Larry Dixon, Darrin Nicely, Jim Lovell, Daren Thomas, Gary Aldrich, Ben Moyer, Jim Brown, Adriana Pinard and Mike

Minutes: February approved as written

 

Treasurer Report: Adriana is working on February treasures report. It was mentioned getting temporary bank deposit envelopes for after event deposits. Board members like the idea

 

Concession Report: Nothing to report

 

Fundraising and Advertising: Nothing to report

 

Cheerleading: Submitted cheerleading budget for board. Budget approved. Mindy also asked NYSA if cheerleading could hold a fundraiser to offset the cost of the uniforms.

 

Football: Working with the High School to have a clinic. More details to come.

 

Soccer: Spring Soccer has 410 players and 53 teams. Season starts the 10th of Apr and ending last week of May. Carnival has been moved to the 28th of Apr to the 3rd of May. Darrin is working to get a grant through US Soccer. We have been approved to host the all Force soccer tourney. More details to come. Region cup is the weekend of the 20th and the 21st of Mar.

 

Basketball: Winter basketball is over. There are three traveling teams.

 

Baseball: Rec baseball has 350 players with 33 teams. 10- 8U, 8-10U, 9-12U, 6-14U. The Rec baseball Pelican fundraiser has kicked off. Navarre night at the Pelican’s game is Jun 8th at the Pelican Park. Daren wants to use CallingPost Communication. This will be used to communicate with all the coaches. It was voted to allow the NHS to use the NYSA Sports Park for a Tournament on the 12th of Jun. Motioned carried.

 

T-Ball: Tee Ball has started. There are 11 teams.

 

Softball: Softball has started. There are 12 teams.

 

Adult Softball: Budget approved with the exception of the $20 dollar utilities fee.

 

Adult Basketball: Nothing to report

 

Old Business: Nothing to report

 

New Business: Amanda McCarde was approved to use her credit card and reimburse her after she presents an invoice to the NYSA board.
