What is Travel Baseball?

Travelbaseball is a highly competitive-level of baseball which requires a commitment from both the player and the player’s family.  The coaches and players rely on each other to be at practice and tournaments as rosters are kept to a minimum. The travel teams play in weekend tournaments with the goal of qualifying for one or more of the travel organizations world series tournament. The travel portion is typically within 1-2 hours of our home park and there may be tournaments that require overnight stays.

What is the cost?

Each team will set their own dues depending on the number of tournaments they play, fund raising, and extra expenses they agree to. Here are some of the up-front cost and sample team dues:

NYSA Registration Fee due January 1st: $95
Uniform Cost $100 - $200 (Varies based on design)
Team dues $50 - $100 monthly (Varies based on number of tournaments)

How much time is involved?

Teams play in at least two tournaments per month and practice 2-3 times per week.
